Job Title: JIRA Administrator (Development & Migration Specialist)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced JIRA Administrator with strong development and migration expertise to manage, customize, and optimize JIRA environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in JIRA administration, scripting, integrations, and leading migration initiatives (Server/Data Center to Cloud). This role requires both technical and functional knowledge to support enterprise-scale agile and DevOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain JIRA (Cloud/Server/Data Center) including configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning
• Design and implement custom workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and schemes
• Develop and maintain JIRA automation, scripts, and plugins (ScriptRunner, Groovy, REST APIs)
• Lead and execute JIRA migrations (Server/Data Center to Cloud), ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime
• Perform data migration activities including user mapping, project migration, and validation
• Integrate JIRA with third-party tools (CI/CD tools, Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, etc.)
• Manage user access, roles, and security best practices
• Create dashboards, reports, and advanced filters for stakeholders
• Troubleshoot system issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with Agile teams to enhance workflows and improve productivity
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and migration strategies
• Ensure compliance with governance and change management policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in JIRA Administration
• Strong experience with JIRA Cloud, Server, and/or Data Center
• Hands-on experience with JIRA migration tools (JCMA, CCMA)
• Proficiency in scripting (Groovy, Java, or REST APIs)
• Experience with plugins like ScriptRunner, Automation for JIRA
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
• Experience with Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Strong understanding of JIRA architecture and data structures
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian Access and SSO integrations
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience in large-scale enterprise migrations
• Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-400, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis
