Job Description:
Systems Engineer oversees the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. These products are often sophisticated systems that run on the web. The systems engineer is responsible to integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices.

Responsibilities include:

• Duties typically include managing the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware and web application, including: specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance.
• Systems engineers are concerned with the \"big picture\" of a project in addition to technical aspects and must consider details like cost, schedules and social issues that may be associated with a project.
• Systems engineering is like putting together a puzzle, matching varied pieces together to make one cohesive whole.

Here's what you need:

• Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 3-10+ years of professional experience in systems engineering.

Bonus points if you have:

• Master's level degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years' systems engineering experience supporting Navy C4I. Experience with transitioning low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Information System (IS) technologies (TRL 5 and below) into active and operational DoD C4I systems.
• PMP or CISSP certification.

Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Education:

• Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline.

Work Schedule:

• Onsite, Monday - Friday, 8 hours each day.

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $101,100-210,500. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
