Summary

Job: Java Developer

Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid)

seeks a contractor to assist with implementation and maintenance of data extracts, ETL batch jobs, and reports, for NC Families Accessing Services through Technology using Cram Software product and Oracle. The selected candidate will analyze and identify reporting requirements for Case Management System reports and implement recommendations to effectively report data of mid to high level complexity. This is related to varied business metrics and for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting data interfaces and reporting solutions, while enhancing existing data extracts and reports to ensure that solutions continue to meet business needs.

Required Skills:

Required Skills:

  • Cram V6/7/8 Certified Developer. V8 preferred.
  • Technical knowledge in the following specialized areas of web application system analysis and programming: Java, J2SE, J2EE, XML, and XSL.
  • Experience configuring, designing, developing and testing dash boards using Power BI
  • Experience in using Oracle, Oracle Utilities, ETL tools
  • Experience with Relational Database modeling.
  • Experience with structured system development methodologies
  • Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting an sense of urgency; independently identify options.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT
  • Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development
  • Ability to lead and mentor the team and take ownership
