Manager, Product DevelopmentLocations: California, New York, or Washington DC (US Candidates Only)Primary Location: New York, NYDuration: 6-Month Contract About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced retail production and product development professional to support apparel and accessories merchandising initiatives. This role will focus on managing production timelines, vendor coordination, cost engineering, and supporting merchandise programs tied to e-commerce and touring campaigns.
Qualifications- 3–5+ years of experience in apparel production, accessories production, or product development
- Experience across multiple apparel categories including men’s, juniors, and children’s wear
- Strong background in vendor management, cost negotiation, and product engineering
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Textile Science, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred
- Experience with music or entertainment merchandise production is a plus
Responsibilities- Support execution of merchandise programs for artist-focused e-commerce and touring campaigns
- Coordinate schedules and production timelines across cross-functional teams
- Negotiate costing and engineer products to meet target retail pricing and margin goals
- Assist in managing pre-production activities and ensuring compliance with product specifications
- Maintain supplier relationships and support product integrity throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and production quality standards
