RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in the South Florida area that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (AWS Glue & Snowflake Specialist) to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Summary:
In this role, you will lead the integration between our cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and our Snowflake data warehouse. You will build high-performance data processing layers to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of Data Engineering experience
* Deep AWS data platform knowledge
* Strong Snowflake experience
* Advanced SQL skills
* Data pipeline implementation experience
* Experience building scalable cloud-native solutions
* Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization
Experience with:
* AWS Glue
* Snowflake
* PostgreSQL
* Amazon DocumentDB
* Strong SQL
* ETL/ELT Development
* Data Pipeline Implementation
* Cloud Data Platforms
Preferred qualifications:
* ETL/ELT development and data pipeline implementation
* Data modeling and optimization
* Experience working in cloud-native data environments
* Strong SQL and performance tuning skills
* Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
