Job Title: Microsoft Teams Engineer – Tenant Migration (Quest Tool)

Location: Boston, MA

 

Job Description-

  1. Provide administration and operational support for Microsoft Teams during tenant‑to‑tenant migration.
  2. Plan and execute Teams migrations using Quest On Demand Migration tools.
  3. Migrate Teams structure, channels, memberships, and associated SharePoint content.
  4. Coordinate migration waves with business stakeholders and site owners.
  5. Validate Teams functionality post‑migration, including chat, meetings, and files.
  6. Manage Teams policies, configurations, and governance in the target tenant.
  7. Support Teams Enterprise Voice features where applicable.
  8. Troubleshoot migration‑related issues and user access concerns.
  9. Monitor Quest migration jobs and resolve failures or exceptions.
  10. Work closely with Exchange and SharePoint SMEs to manage dependencies.
  11. Communicate migration schedules, impacts, and status updates to users.
  12. Ensure minimal business disruption during migration activities.
  13. Maintain migration documentation, runbooks, and issue logs.
  14. Engage Microsoft or Quest support as needed for escalations.
  15. Support post‑migration stabilization and adoption efforts.
