Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect/Engineer to support a large-scale Enterprise Analytics Modernization initiative for Denver International Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Microsoft Fabric professional with strong architecture, data engineering, governance, and Power BI expertise.
The consultant will help design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Fabric solutions while establishing enterprise standards, governance, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and validate Microsoft Fabric architecture and enterprise data platform solutions.
Develop scalable solutions using OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Microsoft Fabric components.
Build and optimize Fabric Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and ETL/ELT processes.
Design semantic models, Direct Lake solutions, and enterprise Power BI reporting architecture.
Implement governance, security, workspace management, and Microsoft Purview integration.
Define best practices for capacity planning, performance optimization, monitoring, and cost management.
Establish DevOps, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, source control, and release management processes.
Document architecture, standards, implementation roadmaps, and operational procedures.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide technical guidance to internal teams.

Required Experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft data and analytics platforms.
Strong enterprise experience implementing Microsoft Fabric solutions.
Experience designing enterprise data warehouses and modern data lake architectures.
Hands-on experience with Power BI architecture and enterprise reporting.
Experience implementing governance, security, and DevOps practices within Microsoft Fabric.
Strong stakeholder communication and technical documentation skills.

Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst
