QA Automation lead (Exp-10 Y)-Full time-Remote

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead with 10+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in automation framework development, test strategy, and quality engineering, along with proven leadership skills. The candidate will be responsible for leading the QA team, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA automation activities across multiple projects and testing environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, Python, or other automation technologies.

• Define automation strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and execution approaches.

• Lead functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing activities.

• Identify opportunities to improve test automation coverage, efficiency, and overall quality.

• Review test scripts, automation frameworks, test results, and defect reports.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Track defects, analyze root causes, and coordinate with development teams for timely resolution.

• Mentor QA engineers, provide technical guidance, and establish automation best practices.

• Monitor testing progress, prepare status reports, and communicate risks and quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or PyTest.

• Strong knowledge of API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.

• Experience with UI, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Hands-on experience integrating automation scripts with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

• Strong understanding of SQL and database validation.

• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycle.

• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.

• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized test execution.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Experience in leading distributed QA teams and managing multiple projects.

• Strong background in building automation strategies and improving overall test coverage.
