THE WORK:- You'll support process improvement by coordinating with operational units, identifying inefficiencies across airside and terminal components, and recommending enhancements.
- You'll collect and analyze aviation operational data, including flight schedules, airfield and gate activity, TSA and CBP throughput, staffing, baggage handling, equipment usage, and space occupancy.
- You'll develop gated flight schedules for upcoming seasons.
- You'll create baseline gate and counter assignments for common-use facilities.
- You'll prepare, review, and lead studies focused on improving operational efficiency, increasing airport capacity, and reducing delays.
- You'll evaluate operational impacts from construction, policy, safety, or technical changes affecting airport operations.
- You'll perform simulation and modeling analyses using tools such as CAST Gate/Stand Allocation and Simio.
- You'll conduct gate utilization and passenger queueing analyses to optimize processing performance.
- You'll review modeling and simulation work from other entities, assessing methodologies, assumptions, parameters, and data sources.
- You'll conduct field observations to gather operational data and validate analytical findings.
- You'll review massing, stacking, conceptual layouts, and preliminary designs from an operational and functional perspective.
- You'll provide recommendations and conceptual sketches to improve space utilization in terminals and airside areas.
- You'll coordinate with commercial, operations, maintenance, and other stakeholders and develop reports and presentations for airport management.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- 5 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
- Licensed Engineer or EIT required (preferably by CA Board of Engineers)
- Proficient with MS Office and MS 365 products
- Experience in CAST or aircraft gate/stand allocation
- Experience with Simio or processing/flow simulation software
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:- Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, etc., and/or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certification
- Preferred experience with data and statistical software such as Python, R, SAS, etc.
- Preferred experience with analytical software such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, GIS
- Preferred experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, GIS, etc.
$146,072 - $160,680 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
