Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and support the delivery of moderate to complex data-driven and AI-enabled business solutions. This role is responsible for end-to-end project execution, including planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, solution design support, project monitoring, status reporting, and successful system implementation.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive data engineering and AI adoption initiatives, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and analytics/AI functions.

Note: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and must be listed on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for data, analytics, and AI initiatives.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular status reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support data engineering, platform, and AI/ML adoption efforts.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, schedules, and lessons learned.
  • Drive adherence to SDLC processes, governance, and best practices.



Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience leading technical projects or programs in data, analytics, and cloud environments.
  • Proven experience managing data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing initiatives.
  • Strong background in business intelligence, big data, and enterprise analytics projects.
  • Experience working with healthcare data initiatives; familiarity with standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and HL7 is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and large-scale project timelines.
  • Expertise in project scope definition, milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach and attention to detail.
  • PMP Certification (Required)



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments, including compliance and data governance.
  • Additional certifications such as PgMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, IT processes, and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Experience in consulting, stakeholder facilitation, and executive communication.
  • Exposure to AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and related certifications.
  • Knowledge of TOGAF or enterprise architecture frameworks.
