Position: Data Engineer (Snowflake & DBT)

Location: Onsite (5 days/week, remote flexibility as needed)

Experience Required: 5+ Years (Minimum 3 Years with Snowflake & DBT)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and DBT expertise to support data initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions. This role is heavily focused (90–100%) on Snowflake and DBT development, including data extraction, transformation, modeling, and analysis.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams, and efficiently pull and analyze data to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Pull, mine, and analyze data from Snowflake.
Build and manage data transformation pipelines using DBT.
Develop and maintain data models within Snowflake.
Support M&A initiatives by integrating and analyzing partner data.
Collaborate closely with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and modeling work.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and performance optimization.
Communicate insights clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

5+ years of overall experience in data engineering or analytics.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
Experience pulling and transforming data within Snowflake.
Strong analytical and data mining skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Nice to Have

DataStage experience (preferred but not required).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong Snowflake-focused Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-visibility projects.
Self-driven and comfortable working onsite 5 days a week.
