Position: Data Engineer (Snowflake & DBT)
Location: Onsite (5 days/week, remote flexibility as needed)
Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and DBT expertise to support data initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions. This role is heavily focused (90–100%) on Snowflake and DBT development, including data extraction, transformation, modeling, and analysis.
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams, and efficiently pull and analyze data to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull, mine, and analyze data from Snowflake.
- Build and manage data transformation pipelines using DBT.
- Develop and maintain data models within Snowflake.
- Support M&A initiatives by integrating and analyzing partner data.
- Collaborate closely with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and modeling work.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and performance optimization.
- Communicate insights clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of overall experience in data engineering or analytics.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
- Experience pulling and transforming data within Snowflake.
- Strong analytical and data mining skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
Nice to Have
- DataStage experience (preferred but not required).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong Snowflake-focused Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-visibility projects.
- Self-driven and comfortable working onsite 5 days a week.
