Systems Administrator, Microsoft O365 Location: Los Angeles CA Full-Time Employment with CLIENT OnSite Work
Purpose of your Job Position :
The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with our IST team, staff, and vendors in assisting the company-wide migration and implementation to the Microsoft 365 platform. You will be responsible for Microsoft 365 administration, including but not limited to supporting our technical support teams, training, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 platform. You will be the specialist for the Microsoft 365 platform
Major Duties and Responsibilities :

- Promotes the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process by identifying quality indicators and opportunities for departmental and organizational process improvement.
- Reports any incidents/accidents according to incident reporting procedures and protocols, within designated timelines as outlined in the reporting procedures. Ensures staff is knowledgeable of and adhere to the reporting procedures and protocols.
- Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent client information.
- Performs other duties as may become necessary or as directed.
- Ensuring the operational health of the Microsoft 365 environment including security, availability, maintenance, performance, interoperability and reliability.
- Administration, support and configuration of Microsoft 365 for new and existing users
- Maintenance of SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, items, permissions and access etc.)
- Assist in the administration and support of Microsoft Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Entra, infrastructure, mobile access, etc.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 related issues including connectivity and mobility when alerted by monitoring software or IST staff.
- Involved throughout the lifecycle of (Azure/ Microsoft 365) key projects.
- Support and resolve specific user deployment issues.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of the current Microsoft 365 tools and understand the Microsoft roadmap and its impact to our business.
- Interact daily with IST team to provide and share technical issue resolution knowledge and deployment/adoption best practice processes.
- Conduct routine monitoring and analysis of all used Microsoft Office 365 platforms.
- Training and educating end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, Outlook etc.).
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and knowledge base of Microsoft 365 processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps to ensure solutions remain leading edge in terms of functionality, security, performance and availability.
- Producing dashboard reports and management information, particularly around the consumption of licenses and resources as well as user adoption of the various components.
- Responsible for handling various escalated helpdesk support tickets, including requests that require hands-on intervention.
- Respond timely and accurately to user requests within IST designated SLA.
- Collaborate with other IST department analysts for support request resolution and when assigned on project tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education/Certifications :
- Associate's degree or certification from an accredited university or program focused on technology support prefered; OR a minimum of six years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- O365 Microsoft Administrator Certification a plus
- Experience :
- Experience Managing more than 20 Windows Servers within the infrastructure.
- Experience with Server and Application deployments/rollouts
- Experience working with helpdesk services, including user support operations, user training material development, user training delivery, systems analysis, and issue troubleshooting and resolution techniques.
- Experience supporting desktop computing environments, including Microsoft products, Windows, Office365, Active Directory, and other productivity software.
- Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtual Server
- Deep knowledge of O365 technologies is a must.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 for an enterprise and working as part of an IT team.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 migration activities
- Proven relevant work experience focused on the implementation and/or use of Microsoft 365 and Collaboration technologies.
- Experience in managing and supporting OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, etc.
- Experience with Office 365 management tools, such as Intune, Azure, AAD, and the other O365 management portals
- Experience administering O365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint environments
