Summary

Client: EdTech

Title: Visual Designer

Duration: 3 Months (Short Term Contract)

Location: 100% Remote

Profile:

·        As a visual designer, you have a love for design and an attention to detail in everything you touch.

·        You''re fluent across the Adobe Creative Suite and comfortable creating and editing design files across many channels – digital ads, email communications, social media, print, and video.

·        Video and animation experience is a must.

·        You take direction well from art directors and creative directors, and you thrive when priorities shift, moving fluidly between projects based on team and workload needs. 

In this role you will:

·        Provide day-to-day production support for the CB Creative team, including the development of digital assets; print deliverables; and edits to existing projects developed in-house and with agencies.

·        Create and edit video and animation assets across channels, from short social cuts to longer-form pieces.

·        Capable of managing all phases of creative work from concept through completion, including design development and file preparation.

·        Take direction from art directors and creative directors, translating feedback into polished, on-brand design solutions.

·        Work hands-on within a fast-paced, iterative design environment, comfortably context-switching across projects as priorities shift.

·        Collaborate with other creatives in the division to ensure compelling and effective design solutions are delivered.

·        Coordinate with project leads and the CB Creative team to ensure timely delivery of design artifacts.

About You

You have:

·        A portfolio of your creative work.

·        2-3 years hands-on experience in design production.

·        Strong, proven expertise across the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

·        Video and animation experience – this is a must-have

·        Understanding of visual design systems, hierarchy, typography, illustration, iconography, photography, data visualization, interaction, and composition.

·        Sharp design sensibilities and are detail-oriented.

·        Comfort taking direction and incorporating feedback quickly.

·        Appetite for problem solving, a love for fast-paced environments, and the flexibility to context-switch across projects as needs shift.
