UX Designer III - Data Experiences

Role summary:

As a UX Designer III at Walmart, on the Data Experiences team, you'll be designing expert systems to support both financial and people data internal platforms. You will bring together multiple data sources to help our financial and people data partners gather insights, build confidence in our data explainability, and ultimately help make critical business decisions. You'll set the vision for the best customer experience and create a space for cross-functional colleagues to collaborate. You will use your knowledge of the Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams, conduct research, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to leverage the collective creativity. You'll employ your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and product design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to cross-functional partners and the leadership team. While working with partners to determine a shared plan forward that balances business and technology considerations, you will create and champion an experience that is highly usable before delivering pixel-perfect designs. In addition, you'll be an integral part of driving inclusive, scalable, and useful solutions to a broad set of teams, transforming complex information and tasks into easy-to-use patterns that comprise one of our sub-design systems. To do this, you'll create scalable solutions that balance business, technology, and brand considerations. You will create and champion an experience that is highly engaging and usable and deliver pixel-perfect detailed designs. You will build relationships with your product, engineering, and brand partners to evangelize the power of design systems and embed them across the organization.

Preferred qualifications:

Degree in Graphic Design, HCI, or similar and at least 2+ years of experience in product design.
Have a fantastic portfolio of thoughtful design solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Preferred having experience designing complex data, analytics, or AI tools.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years' experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
