NETWORK ENGINEER ROLE

Location – Plano, TX, Richardson, TX, Raleigh, NC, Hartford, CT and Tempe, AZ

Introduction:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of IT Systems engineering and will be responsible for system capacity planning, functional configuration, and audit. Certifications are a plus for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Deep expertise in F5 Load Balancers, specifically F5 LTM and F5 GTM
• Advanced level knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls
• Advanced to intermediate level Cisco routing/switching
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for automation
• Networking and security expertise, including firewall and routing knowledge
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Optional skills include F5 ASM/WAF knowledge, ServiceNow ticket management, and JIRA

Requirements:

Must haves:

• F5 Load Balancers (MANDATORY)

Deep expertise required in:

• F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager)
• F5 GTM (Global Traffic Manager / DNS)
• Palo Alto Firewalls - Advanced level
• Cisco routing/switching - Advanced to intermediate

Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills:

Automation:

• Terraform (highly desired)
• Ansible

Networking & Security:

• Firewall expertise (especially Palo Alto)
• Cisco routing knowledge

Cloud:

• Experience in any of the following:
• AWS Cloud Front
• Azure Cloud (Network layer, firewalls, load balancers)
• Google Cloud Platform (Network layer, firewalls, load balancers)
• Familiarity with CloudFront

Other (Lower Priority):

• F5 ASM/WAF knowledge (optional, not core)
• GlobalProtect awareness (not required, handled by another team)
• ServiceNow or similar ticket management
• JIRA or similar
• Automation tools, i.e. Ansible Automation Platform
• Terraform
