RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join one of our premier clients. This role will focus heavily on SQL Server, SSRS reporting, data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence development. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise along with the ability to analyze complex data, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions. This individual will also serve as a technical resource to junior BI developers and partner closely with key business stakeholders. This is hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 days remote at the Tampa, FL Operations Center.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports, dashboards, and BI solutions
* Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and queries
* Build dashboards and reporting solutions to support business stakeholders
* Perform complex ad hoc queries using Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services
* Extract, cleanse, transform, and analyze data from internal and external sources
* Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data marts
* Support and enhance ETL processes and data collection strategies
* Monitor data quality and troubleshoot inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies
* Interpret data and provide meaningful recommendations based on findings
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BI developers
* Partner with business teams to understand reporting requirements and develop effective solutions
* Support additional BI, reporting, and data-related initiatives as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
* 7-10 years of related experience in business intelligence and SQL Server development
* Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and business stakeholders
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365/Microsoft Office
Advanced experience with:
* Microsoft SQL Server
* SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
* Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
* Stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database design
* ETL processes
* Data warehousing
* Data marts
Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft certifications and/or completed coursework in Business Intelligence
* Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
* Experience with multidimensional OLAP reporting, including SSAS or similar technologies
* Experience providing technical mentorship or guidance to junior developers
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
