Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled ITSM Administrator to join a leading electrical distribution company. This role is pivotal in implementing and maintaining technology solutions that support both internal and external users. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of enterprise data centers, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure across over 700 locations nationwide.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements for IT asset discovery, inventory, compliance, and lifecycle management.
  • Design and configure ITAM solutions that integrate with CMDBs, procurement systems, and service desks to streamline asset management processes.
  • Lead the implementation of new asset management platforms and major enhancements to existing systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Define and enforce processes for asset onboarding, assignment, utilization, maintenance, and decommissioning to optimize lifecycle management.
  • Configure and manage discovery tools, data normalization engines, and connectors to accurately ingest and reconcile data from various sources.
  • Develop and manage scripts/APIs to automate data collection, reporting, and enforce compliance policies.
  • Maintain strict adherence to software licensing agreements, hardware lifecycle policies, and financial audit requirements through effective IT asset management practices.
  • Create and maintain real-time dashboards and controls for visibility into IT asset compliance and inventory management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or related ITSM/ITOM roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience with major ITAM or CMDB platforms such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, Ivanti Neurons, or similar.
  • Experience with integration of data from discovery tools like SCCM, Tanium, JAMF, Intune, and SNMP tools.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework, particularly concerning Asset Management and Configuration Management processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex IT concepts in user-friendly language.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs, and sit for extended periods as part of the physical qualifications.
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL v4 Foundation, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, or similar.
  • Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript and familiarity with REST APIs is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 Hourly
