A bit about us:

A growing plastics manufacturer is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support its overnight production operations. This position will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on plastic extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical abilities and experience working with industrial electrical systems.

This position includes required schooling, paid for by the company, to support your technical development.

Job Details

What you'll do

Troubleshoot equipment failures and complete repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery.
Use schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose motor, heater, and electrical circuit issues up to 480V three-phase.
Replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.
Work with production leadership to prioritize repairs and reduce downtime.
Document completed maintenance, repairs, and parts needs.
Assist with fabrication projects using welding and cutting equipment.
Complete required company-paid schooling.

What we're looking for

Relevant equipment repair experience, preferably in manufacturing
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Electrical knowledge preferred
Willingness to attend and complete required schooling
Clear communication and the ability to prioritize repairs
Commitment to safe work practices
