React JS Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced React JS Developer with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in modern front-end development technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications with high performance and responsiveness. Candidates with experience in banking or financial services environments are highly preferred.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development with strong front-end expertise
• Strong hands-on experience with React JS, Redux, and JavaScript ES6+
• Experience with TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks/libraries
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap, and responsive web design
• Experience developing Single Page Applications (SPA)
• Expertise in REST APIs integration and asynchronous programming
• Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and component-based architecture
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit or Context API
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
• Knowledge of performance optimization and debugging techniques
• Good understanding of secure coding practices and accessibility standards

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in banking or financial domain
• Exposure to Node.js or full-stack development
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Experience with Micro Frontend architecture
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and reusable front-end components using React JS
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and backend teams to implement business requirements
• Build responsive and high-performing web applications
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Ensure application security, quality, and performance standards are maintained
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Work closely with QA teams for testing and deployment activities
