Job Description:

Cybersecurity Engineer - On Site Position Seeking a contractor with strong technical skills in managing vulnerability scanning platforms, patching technologies, automation, and core network fundamentals. Responsibilities include operating and optimizing scanning tools, building test environments, and developing automation and dashboarding capabilities. Candidate should understand air‑gapped environments, risk‑based prioritization, and key security domains such as infrastructure security, threat intelligence, security monitoring, and vulnerability assessment. Familiarity with common network protocols, segmentation principles, and traffic analysis is required to support secure operations and incident response.

·                  Manage and optimize enterprise vulnerability scanning platforms.

·                  Support patching workflows and related configuration activities.

·                  Build and maintain test environments for tool and workflow validation.

·                  Develop automation solutions and dashboarding capabilities.

·                  Support incident response through analysis of vulnerabilities and network behaviors.

·                  Work with air‑gapped environments and complex, segmented architectures.

·                  Utilize knowledge of core network protocols, segmentation principles, and traffic analysis.
