Work You'll Do

As a Senior Consultant on the project, you will:
  • Design, implement, and optimize artificial intelligence models and data analytics frameworks to address complex transportation challenges for the Broward MPO and partner agencies.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of transportation infrastructure data using cutting-edge AI and statistical techniques to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations for regional mobility planning.
  • Collaborate with Departments of Transportation (DOTs) and Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) to deliver bespoke AI-driven products, enhancing decision-making in transportation operations, asset management, and project delivery.
  • Serve as a technical liaison with transportation agency stakeholders, translating business requirements into AI-driven technical solutions that align with agency goals and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate emerging trends and integrate novel AI technologies in traffic modeling, predictive analytics, and intelligent transportation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and resiliency of transportation networks.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams and clients on best practices for the adoption and scaling of AI solutions within transportation operations and policy development.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in applied transportation engineering and project management, with a strong focus on leveraging Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and machine learning for large-scale public sector mobility solutions.
  • 5+ years as a Product Manager/Product Owner for multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing technical assessments, operational improvement projects, and the delivery of innovative data-driven solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in advanced statistical modeling, data analysis, and user research within transportation systems.
  • Ability to work onsite at our client's site in Sacramento, CA daily.
  • Ability to travel 15-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clientsandindustries/sectorsyou serve.
Preferred:
  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, information systems, or a closely related field.
  • PMP Certification Preferred.
  • Technical certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, CompTIA, and MS AZ-900 are preferred.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,300 to $188,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
