CI/CD Engineer

Introduction:

As a CI/CD Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline the software delivery process, ensuring efficiency and quality in our software releases.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD best practices
• Maintain and enhance existing CI/CD workflows to optimize software deployment
• Utilize scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy for automation tasks
• Work with Git-based workflows and source control to manage code repositories
• Deploy and manage container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or CI/CD experience
• 5+ years of experience designing enterprise CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy
• Deep understanding of Git-based workflows, CI/CD principles, container technologies, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and cloud platforms

• Source Control: Git
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift
