Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer to join our engineering organization. In this role, you will be a hands-on contributor responsible for designing, developing, and delivering modern, scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) applications, including self-service web portals. You will work with engineers, architects, product managers, and UX designers to build intuitive, performant, and reliable full-stack applications using React and Java.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality full-stack applications using React (TypeScript) on the frontend and Java-based services on the backend.
- Contribute to the implementation of modern application architectures, including componentized UIs, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that adheres to enterprise security, performance, and reliability standards.
- Build responsive, accessible, and interactive user interfaces using the React framework, translating designs into reusable, production-ready UI components.
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable Java-based backend services that support IAM workflows and enterprise integrations.
- Actively participate in Agile delivery models such as Scrum and Kanban, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including product, UX, architecture, QA, and security, to deliver incremental value.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and apply DevOps and CI/CD best practices to support deployment pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with React and Java.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with attention to detail and code quality.
- Proficiency in modern frontend and backend development practices.
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed, virtual team environment.
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Java, building backend services and APIs.
- 4+ years of experience developing web applications using React, with proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with state management solutions such as Redux.
- Experience translating Figma designs into user interfaces.
- 3+ years of experience deploying applications to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or OpenShift.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness).
- Experience with SAST/SCA tools such as SonarQube or Checkmarx.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB).
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
