Job Title: Manager, Business Analysis
Location: Sallie Mae Bank, 86 Christiana Rd, New Castle, DE 19720
Full time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
What you'll do :
- Lead a team of business analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for analysis and improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns.
- Develop and present actionable recommendations and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure the adherence to business analysis methodologies, best practices, and standards across projects.
- Provide subject matter expertise in business analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
- Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Hybrid work permitted up to 3 days per week within a reasonable commuting distance of New Castle, Delaware.
WHAT YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, economics, statistics, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as an AVP, Senior Business Analyst, Statistical Modeler, Statistical Modeler Intern, Data Scientist, or related role where required experience gained. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience, employer will accept a Master's degree in stated fields and three (3) year of experience as an AVP, Senior Business Analyst, Statistical Modeler, Statistical Modeler Intern, Data Scientist, or related role where required experience gained. Also requires experience in the following:
- Interpret complex data sets and develop data-driven strategies;
- Data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization;
- Market and industry research project management;
- 3 years of hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Python;
- 2 years of experience in creating process flows, waterfalls, or use cases with tools such as Visio;
- 3 years of experience in developing or tuning fraud detection rules or working with predictive models;
- Familiarity with and application of AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and OFAC regulations; and
- 2 years of experience in building automated fraud monitoring dashboards using tools like Power BI, or Looker.
