How you'll make an impact in this role- Multi-Cloud Architecture & Design Patterns: Design and architect end-to-end, highly complex cloud architectures across Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and OCI, creating reusable design patterns that satisfy enterprise-grade scalability, security, and extensibility requirements.
- Strategic Migration & Lifecycle Oversight: Lead the assessment, presentation and execution of on-premises to cloud migrations, governing the full SDLC from requirements analysis to decommissioning while ensuring integration with existing Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
- Governance & Standardization: Define and enforce enterprise cloud standards, networking topologies, and security protocols; develop decision matrices for application placement and conduct rigorous risk evaluations for large-scale system integrations or mergers.
- Cost Optimization & Performance Engineering: Proactively architect for "FinOps" by identifying and implementing cost-reduction strategies, optimizing resource utilization, and conducting root-cause analysis for escalated technical performance issues.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Act as the primary subject matter expert to advise business leadership on cloud transformation; mentor mid-level architects on design consistency and alignment with emerging technology trends and regulatory compliance.
What minimum requirements you'll needEducation:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Healthcare Domain Expertise: Direct experience navigating the technical complexities of the healthcare provider industry, including HIPAA compliance and clinical data workflows.
- Multi-Platform Mastery: Advanced, hands-on proficiency in at least two major public cloud ecosystems (specifically Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
- Strategic Communication: Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical architectural concepts into high-impact presentations for C-suite and business stakeholders.
