Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Spatial Computing Developer to drive the integration of NVIDIA Omniverse content into the Apple Vision Pro through advanced streaming technologies. This role serves as the critical connector enabling high-fidelity visualization of Omniverse scenes on headset devices.
You will develop native Vision Pro applications, integrate streaming pipelines, and work seamlessly across macOS, Windows, and visionOS environments often simultaneously. This is a hands-on technical role that requires deep expertise in Swift, real-time rendering, and spatial computing.
Key Responsibilities
Build and optimize Apple Vision Pro applications using visionOS, RealityKit, and Swift, with focus on spatial interactions and hand/eye tracking.
Integrate and optimize streaming workflows to deliver Omniverse content to Vision Pro.
Work concurrently across macOS, Windows, and Vision Pro hardware for real-time testing and development.
Set up, test, and troubleshoot cloud or local streaming paths (e.g., CloudXR or similar frameworks).
Develop automation and tooling using Python to support Omniverse, USD workflows, and internal pipelines.
Collaborate with teams using Unity, Unreal, or custom rendering engines.
Diagnose and resolve performance issues across rendering, encoding, streaming, and client application layers.
Work hands-on with GPU workstations, multi-OS setups, and rapid configuration cycles.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional software development experience focused on XR/AR/VR.
Non-negotiable: Advanced Swift proficiency with experience developing native visionOS or iOS apps.
Experience developing for Vision Pro using visionOS, RealityKit, and ARKit.
Ability to work fluidly across macOS and Windows environments, including device setup and rapid context switching.
Strong understanding of spatial computing (hand/eye tracking, spatial mapping, real-time interactions).
Proficiency in Python scripting, including automation or tool development (Omniverse/USD workflows).
Solid knowledge of real-time graphics, rendering pipelines, and GPU optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot complex client server and streaming issues.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CloudXR or similar XR streaming tools (CloudXR strongly preferred, not required).
Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse, USD APIs, or Omniverse streaming.
Experience with C++ or C#.
Background with Unity or Unreal integrations.
Knowledge of video encoding, streaming protocols, or network performance optimization.
Experience developing XR applications for other platforms (Meta Quest, HTC Vive, etc.).
