Production Manager - Special Events
Location :- Glendale, CA
Contract duration :- 9 months
Pay Range :- $45.00/hr. - $49.00/hr.
Overview
Corporate Creative Resources is a full-service team specializing in special event production, editorial, video, graphic design, emerging technology, and communications planning. The Special Events group delivers creative, turnkey internal and external events, meetings, and conferences across a variety of formats and scales.
This role supports the Production team for a large-scale fan event, serving as a Production Manager responsible for planning, budgeting, logistics, and onsite operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities
< data-end="790" data-start="740">Production Management & Onsite Operations</>-
Provide overall production management support, including planning, logistics coordination, project tracking, and general event planning.

Support onsite event operations, including installation and deinstallation activities.

Assist with daily operational triage onsite, providing support to Area Managers as needed.

Support daily venue closing procedures, ensuring guests clear the venue and exhibitors remain open until designated closing times.

Serve as the evening point of contact at the venue until all guests have exited designated event areas.
< data-end="1394" data-start="1357">Budget & Schedule Management</>

Collaborate with the Overall Event Producer to manage and update the event budget.

Revise estimates, prepare new estimates as needed, and track actual expenses.

Review, file, and track invoices and prepare chargebacks.

Assist with maintaining and updating the master event schedule and monitoring team progress.

Participate in overall production, operational, and installation/deinstallation planning.

Take part in deliverable and individual space reviews to support event readiness and operational knowledge.

Manage and coordinate photo location production, including installation and deinstallation support.
< data-end="2119" data-start="2070">Communication & Stakeholder Coordination</>

Support event logistics communications, including guest communications, orientations, and all-hands presentations.

Partner with internal teams, sponsors, vendors, exhibitors, and operational partners to ensure clear communication and seamless execution.

Assist the Production Team and exhibitors by addressing questions, resolving issues, and connecting with appropriate contacts.

Participate in production meetings, site visits, venue walk-throughs, and vendor meetings as required.

Communicate progress, risks, and next steps to the Event Producer, escalating issues that may impact scope, schedule, budget, or programming.

Participate in daily wrap-up meetings during load-in and event operations.

Maintain and update production schedules, budget documentation, and event files, sharing updates with the Overall Event Producer.

Provide after-action notes and participate in post-event review meetings as requested.
