Job Title: IT Contract & Procurement Manager 
Location: Remote 
Experience: 7 9 years in IT contracts and procurement 
Work style: Independent contributor who can also lead 
 About the role 
We are hiring an experienced IT Contract & Procurement Manager for a 6-month remote contract. You will own IT contracts, statements of work (SOWs) and purchase orders (POs) from request to close, and manage our vendor relationships. This role suits someone who works independently, communicates clearly, and keeps paperwork accurate and on time.
 Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate IT contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, renewals and amendments

• Create and review SOWs: scope, deliverables, milestones, rates and acceptance criteria

• Create, track and close purchase orders, and match them to contracts and invoices

• Manage vendors end to end: onboarding, performance reviews, compliance and renewals

• Act as the main point of contact between vendors, internal teams and finance

• Track contract expiry dates, spend and obligations, and flag risks early

• Keep contract and PO records, trackers and reports accurate in Excel

• Prepare clear documents, summaries and correspondence in Word and email

Required qualifications

• 7 9 years of experience in IT contract management, procurement or vendor management

• Hands-on experience creating SOWs and POs, and a strong grasp of contract terms

• Proven vendor management experience, including negotiation and performance tracking

• Strong written and verbal communication with vendors and stakeholders at all levels

• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, trackers) and strong Word skills

• Able to work independently and remotely, managing priorities without close supervision

• High attention to detail and organized record-keeping

Nice to have

• Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to draft, summarize and review contracts and documents

• Experience with procurement or contract management systems (for example SAP Ariba, Coupa or ServiceNow)

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT or a related field
