We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Fluidics Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting chance expanding your skill set and knowledge in the engineering field.
What You'll Do
Leakage & Sealing Analysis
- Evaluate sealing strategies (O-rings, laser-welded joints, adhesives) for small fluid systems.
- Evaluate a plastic-on-plastic interface between two components to provide a seal in lieu of a standard O-ring or gasket
- Recommend best design practices for high-pressure or low-flow systems.
Manifold Design for Fluid Distribution
- Design a manifold that evenly splits flow across multiple outlets.
- Use CFD to optimize geometry, then prototype and test.
CFD Model Validation
- Simulate laminar-to-turbulent transition in a channel or nozzle.
- Validate with experimental Reynolds number-based measurements.

Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Fluidics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of fluid systems.
- Solidworks experience, CFD Simulation, Hands on testing, report creation, data driven recommendations
- Familiarity with basic statistics.
- Hands-on experience with measurement tools, prototyping, and prototype testing is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in testing and technology.
- Previous internship, personal projects, or coursework related to hardware development, reliability, or product quality is advantageous.
