Low Voltage Cable Installer (Entry to Mid-Level)

Location: Lenoir, NC
Schedule: Mon-Sat, 6AM-5PM 1st & 2nd Shift OT & Saturday work may be required

Job Description

We are seeking motivated Low Voltage Installers to support structured cabling projects in a fast-paced, construction-driven environment. This role is ideal for individuals who have some hands-on installation or construction experience and are ready to build long-term skills in low voltage, telecommunications, and structured cabling.
You will work alongside technicians to learn industry-standard installation techniques while supporting day-to-day project tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull, dress, route, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling according to TIA/EIA standards
• Begin RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations with guidance
• Assist with labeling, cable identification, and pathway organization
• Learn and perform basic punch-downs on telecom blocks
• Support cable testing using tools such as Fluke or EXFO under supervision
• Gain exposure to fiber handling, routing, and dressing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Take direction from technicians, leads, and supervisors
• Follow safety protocols at all times

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenoir, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
