Senior Technical Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager in Utah County, UT.

Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex initiatives across data and software engineering teams. This role is ideal for a highly driven, organized, and communicative project leader who excels at moving projects forward, managing competing priorities, and keeping cross-functional teams aligned. While this position partners closely with technical teams, it does not require deep hands-on technical expertise-strong functional leadership and delivery management are the core focus areas.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple data and software engineering initiatives
* Drive project schedules, priorities, and execution with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
* Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables
* Manage competing priorities and balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
* Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, leadership, and partner teams
* Identify risks, escalate appropriately, and ensure mitigation strategies are executed
* Support planning activities including roadmap definition, resource alignment, and milestone tracking
* Facilitate project ceremonies, status updates, and operational cadences that keep teams informed and accountable

REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager leading complex initiatives
* 6+ years supporting and working with Data and/or Software Engineering teams
* Strong functional project management background-not required to be deeply technical
* Highly driven, proactive demeanor, with the ability to push projects forward and ensure progress
* Demonstrated success managing competing priorities, complex workflows, and multi-layered deliverables
* Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and cross-functional stakeholder management

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
