Security Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer with expertise in cryptography engineering, secure software development, and blockchain security to join a cutting-edge digital asset security team. This role focuses on building highly secure and resilient crypto custody solutions using advanced cryptographic technologies, Multi-Party Computation (MPC), and secure coding practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing secure applications in C/C++, Go, or Rust, implementing cryptographic protocols, and integrating blockchain technologies while ensuring protection against modern security threats.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure cryptographic solutions for digital asset custody platforms.
• Collaborate with cryptographers to build secure and scalable MPC-based custody solutions.
• Develop secure software using C, C++, Go, or Rust following secure coding best practices.
• Perform threat modeling and identify potential security risks and attack vectors.
• Conduct security-focused code reviews and vulnerability assessments.
• Implement and integrate cryptographic protocols, key management, and secure communication mechanisms.
• Work with blockchain nodes and APIs to build transaction signing and wallet functionality.
• Utilize cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL and MPC frameworks.
• Implement secure key storage using Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and Intel SGX Trusted Execution Environments.
• Support secure deployment using cloud security best practices and containerized environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure architecture and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong experience in secure software development and cryptography engineering.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL or MPC frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Multi-Party Computation (MPC) or cryptographic custody platforms.
• Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and Intel SGX.
• Strong knowledge of threat modeling and secure coding practices.
• Experience implementing or auditing cryptographic protocols such as key exchange or digital signature schemes.
• Experience integrating blockchain nodes and APIs.
• Knowledge of Bitcoin UTXO, Ethereum RLP, transaction creation, and signing.
• Understanding of secure storage, databases, networking, and concurrency.
• Familiarity with cloud security, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with digital asset custody platforms.
• Knowledge of blockchain and distributed systems.
• Experience with zero-trust security architectures.
• Strong understanding of secure protocol design.
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments.
