Summary

We are seeking a senior Google Cloud Platform Cloud Engineer to lead application migrations and manage third-party tool integrations. You will be the bridge between application teams and the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem, ensuring high-performance data delivery via GKE and Starburst.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Deploy: Guide teams on Google Cloud Platform service selection and deploy applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Data Integration: Build data pipelines and integrate BI tools via APIs/connectors for seamless accessibility.
Virtualization: Implement hybrid cloud solutions and data virtualization strategies using Starburst Enterprise.
Optimization: Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform advanced SQL debugging/optimization.

Technical Requirements

Cloud: 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform and GKE.
Data Tools: Proficiency in Starburst and connecting BI tools to cloud environments.
Skills: Strong API integration, SQL optimization, and hybrid cloud architecture.
Domain: Previous experience in the Banking/Finance sector is highly preferred.
