Summary

We are seeking a strong Backend Software Engineer to join the Platform Backend Services Team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend APIs and services supporting web and mobile applications
Support tech stack upgrades (Java, Node.js, database drivers, build systems)
Assist with tech debt remediation and platform modernization
Work on global services, including:
- User profile services
- Translation services (including machine translation workflows)
Ensure applications meet security, privacy, and accessibility standards
Collaborate closely with engineers in a regulated, enterprise environment

Required Skills (3-4 years experience)

Java/Node.js proficiency
SQL and NoSQL databases
Docker and containerization
AWS SDK integration

Plus/Preferred Skills

Python
CI/CD pipelines
Generative AI model integration
