Graphic Designer

Description

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will create visually compelling designs that align with our organization's mission and branding. Responsibilities:
Develop creative designs for brochures, flyers, social media posts, and other marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
Write concise and engaging copy for promotional materials and social media content.
Utilize Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, SharePoint, and Word, to manage and organize design projects.
Track and report project progress and time management on a weekly basis using spreadsheets or other documentation tools.
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure designs meet organizational goals and branding standards.
Adapt and learn new tools or software to enhance design capabilities and support project needs.
Ensure designs are optimized for both print and digital platforms.
Maintain consistency and quality across all visual materials.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts and ideas.

Requirements

Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Familiarity with Canva and its features for creating marketing materials.
Strong writing skills for crafting social media posts and promotional copy.
Competence in Microsoft 365 tools, such as Outlook, SharePoint, and Word.
Ability to learn and adapt to new software and tools as needed.
Excellent organizational skills to track and manage multiple projects.
Knowledge of design principles for both print and digital media.
