Description We are seeking a Marketing Specialist with strong design capabilities to lead our communications and marketing efforts. This role blends creative strategy, content development, and hands-on design work for a variety of audiences including researchers, corporate partners, investors, donors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies across digital, social, print, and presentation platforms.
- Ensure consistent and cohesive visual and narrative branding for websites, presentations, campaigns, print collateral, and events.
- Develop compelling messaging for diverse groups, ensuring alignment and accessibility standards.
- Oversee design and production of reports, presentations, marketing campaigns, and event collateral.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for production and content delivery.
- Create original multi-format content including articles, features, videos, social media, and reports.
- Support promotion and outreach for innovation and entrepreneurship programs, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Support outreach to leadership, board members, foundations, and donors.
Requirements Technical Requirements:- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications
- Experience using Canva
- Basic HTML knowledge
- Managing content on web platforms (CMS)
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in communications, graphic arts, marketing, or a related field
- 4-5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or project management
- Expertise in multimedia and digital communications
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach
- Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing, impactful marketing materials
- Professional style: clear, direct, and efficient
