Summary
Our client is seeking a hands?on Ramp Implementation Consultant to onboard, configure, and deploy the Ramp platform, then transition ownership to internal business and IT teams. This role is techno?functional and execution?focused, centered on application setup and configuration, not strategic consulting or process redesign.
The consultant will work directly within the Ramp application to configure core functionality and ensure internal teams are fully trained to support day?to?day administration post?implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead end?to?end Ramp onboarding and configuration
- Configure Ramp core modules, including:
- Corporate card and expense management
- Vendor management and bill pay workflows
- Approval rules, spend controls, and user permissions
- Set up and validate:
- User roles and access levels
- Policies, guardrails, and approval flows
- Vendor profiles and payment configurations
- Troubleshoot configuration issues directly within the Ramp application
- Train internal business and IT teams on:
- Day?to?day Ramp administration
- Ongoing configuration and maintenance
- Provide documentation and guidance to support long?term internal ownership
Scope:
- Ramp application configuration and setup
- Vendor management configuration within Ramp
- Expense management configuration
- Permissions, policies, and approval workflows
- Knowledge transfer and administrator training
Required:
- Direct, hands?on experience implementing Ramp (required)
- Experience configuring the Ramp core application
- Experience with Ramp vendor management and expense management
- Proven experience configuring SaaS financial or spend?management platforms
- Ability to work independently within a defined technical scope
- Experience training internal users and transitioning system ownership
Note: Candidates without direct Ramp implementation experience will not be considered.
