Salesforce Business Analyst Insurance domain

Introduction:

We are looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst with expertise in the Insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating business needs into effective technology solutions. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer experience in insurance operations.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze end-to-end insurance business processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for optimization.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Support initiatives related to policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer service systems.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements through stakeholder interactions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
• Act as a liaison between business users, product owners, developers, QA teams, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flow diagrams, and user guides.

Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:

• Handling Multiple Systems and working on Salesforce Sales and Service cloud is mandatory.
• Fluent communication skills to represent in business and SLT meetings.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Experience:

• 12+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Insurance domain.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and functional documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
• Working knowledge of Oracle/SQL Server.
• Proficiency with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN tools).
• Familiarity with business intelligence, reporting tools, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience supporting UAT and working with QA teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work-shift Timings (If required):

• 9 to 5 PM EST
