FS Java Rest API GitOps CI CD

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS Java Rest API GitOps CI CD in Westlake, TX.

Duties:
* Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software - sprint to sprint, release to release
* Perfection in software development practices and procedures
* Participates in application-level architecture - able to drive the solution
* Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts
* Responsible for QA readiness of software work you are doing (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation)
* Responsible for supporting implementation of initiatives
* Works on sophisticated assignments and often multiple phases of a project

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of experience in Java
* 4+ years of experience in delivering DaaS (Data as a Service) via Java Microservices using Spring Boot, Apache Tomcat
* 4+ years of experience integration with REST clients, messaging systems
* 4+ years of experience with DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, EKS/AKS
* 2+ years of extensive experience in delivering AWS services primarily RDS and Dynamo DB
* 2+ years of experience in Snowflake, Apache Airflow highly preferred
* 2+ years of experience in Oracle or Snowflake; Ability to write and understand complex SQL queries
* Experience with integrating front-end UI with back-end services & API's, transaction management, error handling
* Experience in API Gateway and any monitoring tools
* Experience in OBIEE/Power BI
* Strong experience in navigating organizational structure
* Strong experience in removing team's blocker
* Hands-on Java skills
* Tight-knit collaboration skills
* Excellent communication skills required
* Strong problem resolution skills required
* Critical thinking and the ability to work in an Agile environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
