Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will partner with engineering, security, and business teams to drive cloud modernization, application migration, and cloud-native architecture initiatives while ensuring compliance with financial services standards.
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
Expertise in cloud architecture and solution design for enterprise applications.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Strong knowledge of AWS security, networking, and governance best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
Experience with application migration and modernization to AWS.
Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional.
Experience in financial services, banking, or insurance domains.
Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven design patterns.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with data platforms including Redshift, Glue, EMR, or Snowflake.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and automated security controls.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
