We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance and Accounting Implementation Specialist to support a global SAP S/4HANA ERP conversion. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly across Finance, Accounting, and Tax.
This role requires direct involvement in implementation activities, interface analysis and design, testing, defect resolution, and ensuring data and process integrity throughout the ERP conversion.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze existing interfaces within the legacy SAP ECC environment and identify opportunities for simplification and standardization.
Define and document future-state interface requirements, with a focus on financial reporting, accounting, and tax impacts.
Review functional specifications and technical designs developed by the development team and identify gaps in requirements coverage.
Provide guidance to ensure interface designs meet Finance, Accounting, and Tax requirements.
Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and perform impact analysis on build defects.
Organize and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for interfaces and tax reporting requirements.
Track defects, bug fixes, and testing issues through resolution.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure interfaces are ready for deployment according to project timelines.
Support process standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with Finance, Tax, Accounting, IT, and other stakeholders throughout the implementation.
Required Qualifications :
10+ years of hands-on SAP implementation experience.
Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO).
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or ERP conversion projects.
Strong understanding of Finance, Accounting, and Tax processes.
Experience developing and reviewing interface specifications.
Experience with end-to-end testing, including SIT and UAT.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong focus on hands-on implementation activities rather than high-level project management.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with global SAP S/4HANA implementations.
LATAM implementation experience is highly preferred.
Spanish language proficiency.
Knowledge of international indirect tax requirements and compliance.
Familiarity with financial reporting and treasury functions.
Experience with interface standardization and simplification initiatives.
