Summary

Lead Product Manager - Enterprise Communications (Hybrid NYC) Pay rate: $70-90/hour depending on experience
This leading financial services institution provides essential lending and credit solutions to millions of customers across the United States. With a focus on building trust through transparent communication, the company is currently modernizing its digital ecosystem to transition from transactional messaging to sophisticated, multi-channel customer journeys. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth environment that balances traditional financial stability with a forward-thinking approach to technology and customer engagement.

As a Lead Product Manager, you will take ownership of the enterprise communications platform, driving the roadmap for tools that power millions of customer touchpoints across email, SMS, and push notifications. Rather than managing individual campaigns, you will focus on the underlying architecture, data frameworks, and scalable capabilities that enable the broader marketing organization to succeed. You will act as a critical bridge between Engineering, Marketing, and Data teams to ensure the platform is robust, compliant, and capable of supporting highly personalized, trigger-based interactions.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience specifically within MarTech, digital platforms, or customer experience technology.
  • Expertise in Adobe Campaign or Adobe Journey Optimizer (or equivalent enterprise-grade communication platforms).
  • Financial Services background with a strong understanding of navigating TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and CCPA/GDPR compliance.
  • Technical Proficiency in writing detailed user stories, managing acceptance criteria, and utilizing Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Data-Driven Mindset with experience building A/B testing frameworks and defining event triggers for personalization.
  • Stakeholder Management skills, with a proven ability to influence decisions across multiple business lines in a matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute a multi-year enhancement backlog for Adobe Campaign and Journey Optimizer, prioritizing scalable solutions over one-off fixes.
  • Data & Architecture: Partner with Data Engineering to establish the event structures and triggers necessary for responsive, dynamic customer communications.
  • Governance: Establish enterprise standards for reusable templates, communication fatigue rules, and cross-channel frequency management.
  • Execution: Lead quarterly planning and backlog refinement while monitoring platform performance to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Platform Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for Adobe partnership discussions and lead internal training to drive platform adoption and best practices.

This role offers a competitive compensation package and the stability of a long-term contract with a high potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position. The work setup is hybrid, requiring three days per week on-site in New York City, Charlotte, or Dallas. You will join a collaborative culture that values simplicity, durable engineering, and the "builder" mentality, providing you with the autonomy to shape the future of how the business engages with its customers.
