Job Title : VMware NSX Security Engineer
Location : Spring TX (Onsite)
Rate : $80/c2c or $68/w2 (All Inclusive)

Job Description:
Responsible for designing, deploying, and administering VMware NSX networking and security environments, with a strong focus on zero-trust, micro-segmentation, distributed firewalls, and network virtualization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage VMware NSX-T/NSX, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
· Configure DFW, Gateway Firewall, micro-segmentation, logical switching, and T0/T1 routing.
· Troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, Geneve/VXLAN, VLAN, and TCP/IP networking.
· Perform NSX upgrades, patches, scaling, and lifecycle management.
· Develop automation using PowerCLI, Python, Terraform, or NSX REST APIs.
· Monitor NSX infrastructure and security events using Aria Operations, Network Insight, or Splunk.
· Support incident response, network flow analysis, and emergency security isolation.
· Integrate NSX with Palo Alto, Check Point, AWS, or Azure environments.
Must-Have Skills:
· VMware NSX-T/NSX, vSphere, ESXi & vCenter
· BGP, OSPF, Geneve/VXLAN, VLAN & TCP/IP
· Distributed Firewall, Micro-segmentation & Zero Trust
· PowerCLI/PowerShell, Python, Terraform or NSX REST API
· Tier-0/Tier-1 Routing, Logical Switching & NSX Security
