Oracle SCM Lead Consultant (WIP & WMS)

Introduction:

As an Oracle SCM Lead Consultant specializing in Work in Process (WIP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), you will play a key role in providing techno-functional support for Oracle SCM, WIP, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and custom processes. You will lead a team of technical and functional resources, working closely with business users, warehouse teams, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary customer-facing Oracle SCM techno-functional lead, working closely with business users, warehouse teams, and stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Oracle SCM technical and functional resources.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, task allocation, technical guidance, issue escalation, and status reporting for the support team.
  • Handle and resolve warehouse and shop floor operational issues.
  • Provide techno-functional support for Oracle SCM, WIP, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and custom processes.
  • Analyze business issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate appropriate technical and functional solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.
  • Review functional and technical designs prepared by team members and ensure solution quality.
  • Coordinate development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Manage priorities, track incidents and enhancements, and communicate progress and risks to customers and management.
  • Support Oracle customizations, interfaces, reports, integrations, and troubleshooting activities.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience working with Oracle Applications.
  • Strong Oracle SCM techno-functional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Oracle SCM
    • Oracle WIP (Work in Process)
    • Inventory
    • Warehouse Management / Warehouse Operations
    • Shop Floor processes
    • Oracle Custom Processes
  • Experience supporting Oracle EBS (Oracle E-Business Suite) applications.
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, interfaces, reports, workflows, and customizations.
  • Proven experience in team leadership or technical lead responsibilities.
  • Experience managing and mentoring Oracle consultants/developers.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environments.
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of production issues and deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
