Are you an experienced engineer with a background in power generation, utility operations, or large industrial energy projects? We are seeking a Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on complex power projects, ensuring engineering excellence, client satisfaction, and successful project execution from design through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead engineering activities for power generation and utility infrastructure projects.

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients, contractors, engineering teams, designers, and suppliers.

  • Coordinate engineering deliverables, RFQs, technical documentation, commissioning plans, and project reports.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, contract requirements, and industry standards.

  • Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation in partnership with Project Management.

  • Manage engineering schedules, deliverables, subcontractors, and technical project risks.

  • Monitor project documentation, RFIs, NCRs, and document management systems.

  • Conduct technical meetings and provide leadership throughout project execution.

  • Develop strong client relationships while ensuring technical solutions exceed customer expectations.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.

  • Experience supporting or leading engineering efforts on power generation, utility, fossil fuel, or large industrial energy projects.

  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and third-party contractors.

  • Strong understanding of engineering design, construction support, and project execution.

  • Experience working directly with customers, consulting engineers, equipment suppliers, and contractors.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 experience preferred.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License and/or PMP certification preferred.
