Description We are seeking an Implementation Engineer to join our team and support the deployment of enterprise software solutions for public sector organizations nationwide. This role involves working closely with project managers and consultants to configure systems, train users, and ensure the successful implementation of software products. The position offers flexibility to work remotely or from one of our office locations.
Responsibilities:- Conduct interviews with clients to gather requirements and document needs for system configuration.
- Configure software platforms to align with customer workflows, utilizing standard industry modules and features.
- Perform data migration and conversion using tools such as ETL engines and scripting languages (e.g., Python) to ensure a seamless transition from legacy systems.
- Integrate spatial data and connectivity features to enhance overall system usability.
- Deliver end-user training sessions and develop comprehensive documentation for client reference.
- Provide on-site and remote support during system go-live phases to ensure a smooth transition.
- Travel periodically to client locations to assist with implementation and training.
- Stay up to date on security and privacy policies and report any incidents according to company procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients receive ongoing support after initial implementation.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with enterprise software implementation, system configuration, or technical consulting
- Familiarity with database concepts, data conversion, and ETL tools; hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
- Experience integrating spatial/GIS data is helpful but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and train diverse users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites as required.
- Knowledge of information security and privacy best practices is a plus.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
