Job Title: Sr. AI / GenAI Engineer (Python + Google Cloud Platform)

Location: Remote

Job overview:-
Looking for strong Python programmers/consultants with hands-on experience in Generative AI.

Tech Stack: Python, FastAPI, Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Gemini, Document AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery)

Responsibilities:

• Build agentic AI solutions on Google Cloud using Vertex AI and Gemini
• Design OCR and document extraction pipelines with Google Document AI
• Build end-to-end RAG pipelines with Vector Databases
• Develop embeddings, indexing, and retrieval pipelines
• Build backend APIs using Python / FastAPI
• Deploy services on Cloud Run; work with GCS and BigQuery
• Ensure performance, scalability, and cost optimization

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong Python + FastAPI development
• Hands-on with LLMs / GenAI (Gemini preferred)
• Vector Databases (Vertex AI Vector Search / Pinecone / Weaviate or similar)
• End-to-end RAG pipeline experience
• OCR / Document AI / document extraction
• Google Cloud Platform-native services (other clouds OK, Google Cloud Platform strongly preferred)

Nice to Have:

• Multi-modal AI (text + image)
• Prompt engineering, evaluation, tuning
• Event-driven architectures using Cloud Functions

We Want Engineers Who:

• Deeply understand retrieval, embeddings, and chunking strategies
• Can design scalable, Google Cloud Platform-native architectures end-to-end

Educational Qualifications:

• Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
• Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

·   Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
