Position Overview This leadership role oversees the strategy, integration, and delivery of containerized and prefabricated modular data center solutions across North America. The position focuses on mission-critical infrastructure platforms that integrate advanced power systems within modular environments.
- The individual in this role will provide executive ownership for modular delivery programs, ensuring projects meet operational objectives related to schedule, cost management, system reliability, and quality standards.
- The role requires deep expertise in data center infrastructure and power integration, along with the ability to coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and deployment teams across complex infrastructure initiatives.
- In addition to technical oversight, this position acts as a senior escalation point for integration challenges and ensures that modular solutions are executed successfully from concept through field deployment.
Strategy and Modular Infrastructure Leadership Lead the development and execution of the North American strategy for containerized and prefabricated modular data center infrastructure with an emphasis on integrated power platforms. Provide executive oversight of modular delivery programs to ensure operational performance targets are met across schedule, cost, quality, and reliability metrics. Address complex integration or deployment challenges and guide teams toward effective resolution.
Systems Integration and Solution Ownership Oversee the engineering coordination, system integration, and validation of modular power infrastructure platforms that include UPS systems, battery energy storage, power distribution units, switchgear, and control environments operating within containerized or skid-based systems. Ensure seamless compatibility with cooling systems, monitoring technologies, control platforms, and DCIM environments. Drive initiatives that promote modular platform standardization, repeatable architecture models, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Program Execution and Deployment Oversight Direct planning and coordination across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, testing, and deployment phases of modular data center programs. Ensure appropriate execution of factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing prior to field deployment. Maintain adherence to industry codes and regulatory standards including UL, NEC, IEEE, NFPA, TIA-942, and Uptime Institute requirements. Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to improve build efficiency, quality assurance, and production scalability.
Customer and Technical Engagement Support sales and business development initiatives by participating in technical discussions, proposal responses, and client presentations related to modular infrastructure solutions. Serve as a senior technical advisor to customers, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and system integration partners. Align delivery capabilities with customer deployment requirements spanning enterprise facilities, edge data centers, colocation environments, and hyperscale infrastructure programs.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team consisting of project managers, solution architects, integration engineers, and delivery specialists responsible for modular infrastructure execution. Work closely with engineering, research and development, product management, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to support innovation and continuous operational improvement. Establish best practices for modular deployment processes, documentation standards, and lifecycle management.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor or a related technical discipline is required. Master or MBA is preferred.
Candidates should bring minimum of seven (7) years of experience within data center infrastructure or mission-critical power environments
Candidates should have minimum of five (5) years in leadership overseeing complex technical data center build strategy programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in UPS systems, battery energy storage, power distribution infrastructure, and other mission-critical electrical platforms supporting data center operations is required.
- Candidates should also have experience delivering modular, prefabricated, or containerized data center infrastructure and a strong understanding of North American compliance standards.
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex multi-site integration programs.
- Willingness to travel is expected.
