Job Title: Senior DotNET/C# Developer

Job Location: New York City, NY

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and related technologies.
Participate in solution design discussions, contributing to scalable and maintainable architecture.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Debug and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
Support deployment activities and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the development team.
Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

6 8 years of experience in software development using C# and .NET technologies.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and application architecture.
Experience with RESTful API integrations.
Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and deployment.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Experience with databases such as SQL Server, enterprise datasets, SSIS, and SSRS.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the insurance domain or other regulated industries.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Experience with microservices architecture.
